No Pictures, But Good Reading Material

Well, the search is over, at least until the next search starts. It was a hard decision, the pickings are pretty slim there in that small town of Cali. But we had some options.

Option #1
Huge House 3000sqft, pool in the back yard with a pool house, great price… the list goes on. You think too good to be true????? Yep! We were told that this house was a little dated and we thought….. hum dated??? we can do dated. Then Matt’s cousin went and saw this house. Her response….Dated is an understatement. We decided to call this house THE GREEN HOUSE because everything and I mean everything was green. The house itself, the carpet, the counter tops, the appliances, the linoleum you name it and it is green. Had dated been the only downfall, we could probably make it work just great for us temporarily. But it is old, the pool house is more of a storage shed, the outside is showing its age and the big down fall….THE POOL. There is no fence around it and we would have to flip the $1500+ bill to have one put in, not really something we wanted to pay on a rental. And with 3 doors leading out to the pool, it would be a little more of a lifeguard job then we wanted. So we scratch that off our list.

Option #2
The investment property. This house would be something we would buy and then try and fix the house up and live in until the time was right and we could sell off the property. The house itself is weird looking and looks as if the outside had had a fire, however there has been no fire, it is just so old and has not been taken care of that it looks terrible. This house needs A LOT of LOVE and I am not sure if we have that much love and patients and money to dive into this investment right now. (Although not completely scratch off the list, it is at least scratch off until we figure out what in the world we are doing.)

Option #3
This little beauty just became available, it was for sale and not selling. So we are fortunate enough to get to rent this little 3 bed room house. It is a month by month lease, so that will be perfect while we get some plans for a custom home and hopefully get building real quick in the near future. In the mean time we are feeling a little homesick for our specious Arizona home and really missing the JETTED TUB. But this house will work out great for us. So far, the worst part is, the Armada is not going to fit in the garage and Matt says our bedroom is purple. Oh well, it's home.
